Shanxi's ancient building —— Qinglian Temple
Introduction to Qinglian Temple:
Qinglian Temple, originally named Xiashi Temple, is located on the side of Xiashi County, Jincheng County, 17 kilometers southeast of Jincheng City, Shanxi Province. Because the Sakyamuni in the temple sitting on the lotus seat, so the name Qinglian Temple, is a national key cultural relics protection unit. Qinglian Temple is divided into two parts, ancient and new, near the Dan River mountain. Ancient Qinglian Temple in the lower, the new Qinglian Temple on the top. Ancient Qinglian Temple was founded in the Tianbao Period of the Northern Qi Dynasty (550-559 AD), and was rebuilt in antong eight (867 AD) and named Qinglian Temple. On the east side of the temple, there are brick Tibetan pagoda built in the Ming Dynasty, and on the west side is the Huifeng stone pagoda built in the Tang Dynasty.
